美國總統特朗普於上周五簽署行政命令，禁止七個伊斯蘭國家的公民入境。此舉隨即引發美國、以至全球民眾激烈反響，不少地方也舉行了反對特朗普種族及宗教歧視的示威。

國際組織Avaaz全球採取行動於網站發起聯署，呼籲公民聯署公開信來抵制此行政禁令，停止仇恨和歧視繼續散播。

親愛的特朗普先生：

你所作的，絕不是偉大的舉動。

我們反對你散播恐懼，仇恨和偏執。我們反對你支持酷刑，反對你呼籲殺害平民，以及你一直鼓吹的暴力。

我們不能接受你詆毀女性、穆斯林、墨西哥人，也不能接受你誣陷那些和你外表、語言、信仰不同的千百種人。

當你選擇恐懼時，我們選擇了向他人表現同情；當你認為絕望時，我們選擇了相信希望；當你表現得自大無知時，我們選擇去理解別人。

作為世界公民，我們將團結一致對抗你分化族群的手段！

Dear Mr. Trump,

This is not what greatness looks like.

The world rejects your fear, hate-mongering, and bigotry. We reject your support for torture, your calls for murdering civilians, and your general encouragement of violence. We reject your  of women, Muslims, Mexicans, and millions of others who don’t look like you, talk like you, or pray to the same god as you.

Facing your fear we choose compassion. Hearing your despair we choose hope. Seeing your ignorance we choose understanding.

As citizens of the world, we stand united against your brand of division.
